The exact cancellation terms for your stay depend on the rate and dates you choose, and are shown at booking and in your confirmation email. Those terms are the ones that apply to your reservation.
Booked Direct? We'll Work With You
One of the perks of booking direct: you deal with us, not a middleman. If your plans change, contact us as early as you can at (888) 299-8815 or the contact form — we'll do our best to find a fair option, whether that's a date change or a cancellation under your booking's terms.
Booked Through Airbnb, VRBO, or Another Platform?
Cancellations for platform bookings follow that platform's policy and must be requested through the platform, so your refund is handled correctly on their side.
Date Changes & Extensions
Want different dates instead of cancelling — or want to stay longer? Reach out and we'll check availability. Extensions are almost always easier than cancellations, and extended stays of 30+ nights drop the bed tax entirely.
Deposits
Security-deposit holds are normally a temporary authorization, released after check-out (or after a cancellation takes effect) as long as the room is in good condition. Credit-card holds are usually released quickly; debit-card funds may take 5–10 business days after release, since timing is controlled by your card issuer, not us.
